Flaviana Matata
has blazed trails as a Tanzanian beauty since the day she first set
foot on the pageant stage to represent her native country back in 2007.
At the time, not only was she the first to win the premiere edition of the Miss Universe Tanzania, but she was also the first to ever compete in the pageant with a shaved head.
After her beauty queen days, she was spotted by boss man Russell Simmons, who saw something special in Flaviana’s unique and stunning features and pushed her to explore more modeling options.
Many moons have passed since then, and Flaviana has developed into an indestructible talent sought out by some of the leading professionals in the fashion industry.
Flaviana is the new face of “Face Lace” and recently wrapped an amazing photo shoot with European fashion magazine Grazia, showing no hints of slowing down her stride.
